Today we spotlight Michelle, an educator in her thirteenth year as an administrator. If you know Michelle, you know she is committed to education and dedicated to her community. Michelle founded the Educators of Colour Network, an organization that provides free professional development to racialized and internationally educated teachers. Michelle is also passionate about mental health and became involved in Andrew Harris' #CheckInChallenge. She recognized how critical it was during the pandemic and the added importance of addressing mental health within the Black and other racialized/minoritized communities.
