BH23 Spotlight - Justus Alleyn

Justus Alleyn was an all-star basketball player at the University of Manitoba. Playing for 5 years, Justus became the all-time leading scorer at the U of M and completed his degree in economics simultaneously. From playing with Team Manitoba and Team Canada, Justus without a doubt left his mark on the basketball community and is now giving back by coaching.

Community is everything to Justus. He now works in finance at Nour Private Wealt - the Northwell Group where he hopes to close the information gap between the wealthy and the rest of society. Through education and teaching others about their finances, Justus wants to help facilitate the growth of the community. “I want young black kids in Winnipeg and all over Canada to feel like, hey, I can. I can do whatever I want. There's no limit on what I can achieve.”

“Being history” to Justus means living a life that you will be proud of, and helping people. It means building something that means something to people and positively impacting the lives of others.
